Bu çalışmanın amacı Atipik ve Tipik gelişim gösteren çocuğa sahip annelerin ölüm kaygılarına ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi KKTC sınırları içerisinde yaşayan 14 anneden oluşmaktadır. Annelerin 7’si Atipik gelişim gösteren çocuğa 7’si Tipik gelişim gösteren çocuğa sahip annelerdir. Örneklem grubu çocuklarının yaşlarının 18 ve üzeri olması ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Örneklem grubuna verilerin kolay ulaşılabilir olması amacıyla kartopu ve amaçlı örneklem metotlarıyla ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda iki gruba ait annelerin ölüm kaygılarına ilişkin temel farkın bakım verme ve iyi bir eğitim verme konusunda şekillendiği saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları literatür çerçevesinde tartışılmış, araştırmanın sınırlılıkları ve araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda konuya ilişkin öneriler verilmiştir.

The aim of this study was to investigate the opinions of mothers with atypical and typical develop mental children on death anxiety. The sample of the study consists of 14 mothers living in the TRNC. 7 of the mothers had children with atypical development and 7 of them had mothers with typical development. The sample group was limited to mothers with children aged 18 and over. The sample group was reached by snowball and purposeful sampling methods in order to make the data easily accessible. At the end of the study,it was found that the main differencein the anxiety of deathof the mothers belonging to two groups was shaped about caregiving and providing good education. The findings of the research were discussed within the framework of the literature, and suggestions were given in line with the limitations of the research and the findings of there search.
