Bu çalışmanın amacı zorbalıkta seyirci müdahale ölçeğini (ZSMÖ) Türkçe’ye uyarlayarak ortaokul öğrencileri için geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Ölçek geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları için 364 ortaokul öğrenci (191 kız, 173 erkek) grubuna uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliği doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile test edilmiş ve analiz sonucunda elde edilen uyum iyiliği katsayıları kabul edilebilir düzeyde bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin tamamına ilişkin iç tutarlık katsayısı .88, alt boyutlardan olayı fark etme için .60; olayı acil olarak yorumlama için .78; yardım etme sorumluluğunu kabul etme için .67; nasıl müdahale edileceğine karar verme için .75 ve müdahale kararını uygulama için .78 olarak bulunmuştur. Dört hafta arayla yapılan test-tekrar-test güvenirlik katsayısı ise .80 bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin ortaokul öğrencilerinin zorbalığa seyirci olmaları ile ilgili yapılacak araştırmalarda kullanılabilecek düzeyde olduğu kanısına ulaşılmıştır.

The main purpose of this study is to adapt the Bystander Intervention Scale in Bullying and to investigate its validity and reliability for middle school students. The scale was applied to 364 students (191 girls, 173 boys) middle school students for validity and reliability analysis. The construct validity of the scale was tested by CFA, and the goodness of fit coefficients obtained from the analysis were found to be acceptable. The internal consistency coefficient for the whole scale was .88, and for the sub- dimensions of the scale, it was .60 for noticing the event, .78 for interpreting the event as an emergency, .67 for accepting responsibility for help, .75 for deciding how to intervene, and .78 for implementing the decision to intervene. The test-retest reliability coefficient obtained at the four-week interval was .80. It has been concluded that the scale is at a level that can be used in the researches to be conducted on bystander intervention of middle school students in bullying.
