Bu araştırmanın amacı sağlık alanında çalışmakta olan sağlık çalışanlarının (doktor, hemşire, idari personel, hasta hizmetleri danışmanı, temizlik personeli ve diğer personeller) psikolojik belirtilerini belirlemek ve bu belirtilerle ilişkili psikolojik dayanıklılık bakımından özellikle ruh sağlığının tekrar kazanılması ve sürdürülmesiyle ilişkisini belirlemektir. Betimsel türde yapılmış bu çalışmanın evreni Türkiye Cumhuriyetinde bulunan özel hastanelerdeki sağlık çalışanlarını kapsamaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubu seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden uygun örnekleme modeliyle belirlenen %54.4’ü (n=56) kadın, %45.6’sı (n=47) erkek olmak üzere toplam 106 sağlık personelinden oluşmaktadır. Verileri toplamak amacıyla sağlık çalışanlarının psikolojik belirti düzeylerini saptamak için Kısa Semptom Envanteri, psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeylerini saptamak için Yetişkinler için Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Ölçeği ve araştırmanın amacına yönelik araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan sosyo-demografik bilgi formu uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sağlık çalışanlarında psikolojik belirtiler ve psikolojik dayanıklılık arasında negatif yönde ilişki ortaya konmuştur. Sağlık çalışanlarının psikolojik belirtilerden anksiyete, depresyon, olumsuz benlik, somatizasyon, öfke saldırganlık ve genel psikolojik belirti düzeyleri düşük, psikolojik dayanıklılık bakımından yapısal stil, gelecek algısı, aile uyumu, kendilik algısı, sosyal yeterlilik, sosyal kaynaklar ve genel psikolojik dayanıklılık düzeyleri yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları ilgili literatür dahilinde tartışılmış, uygulamaya yönelik ve ileride yapılacak araştırmalara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between psychological symptoms of health professionals working in the field of health (i.e. doctors, nurses, administrative personnel, patient services counselor, cleaning personnel and other staff) and psychological resistance as factors are effective in terms of regaining and maintaining mental health from the perspective of psychological endurance as regards these symptoms. The universe of this descriptive study is health workers in private hospitals in Turkey. The sample group of the study consisted of 106 health personnel, 54.4% (n = 56) of which is females and 45.6% (n = 47) of which is males, determined by non-random sampling methods. In order to collect the data, Brief Symptom Inventory was used to determine the psychological symptom levels of the health care workers, Psychological Resilience Scale for Adults was used to determine the psychological resilience levels and socio-demographic information form prepared by the researcher in accordance with the purpose of the study was used. As a result of the research, it has been displayed that there is a negative relationship between psychological symptoms and psychological resilience among health workers. It was found that anxiety, depression, negative self, somatization, hostility/aggression and general psychological symptom levels of health workers were low. On the other hand, in terms of psychological resilience, structural style, future perception, family adjustment, selfperception, social competence, social resources and general psychological resilience levels were found to be high. The conclusions of the research were discussed within the related literature, and recommendations were made for practical purposes and future studies.
