Birey Merkezli Terapiye Dayalı Bir Psiko-EğitimProgramı Akademik Erteleme Davranışı Üzerinde NeKadar Etkili? Bir Değerlendirme Çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı, birey merkezli terapiye dayalı olarak geliştirilen akademik erteleme
davranışıyla baş etme psiko-eğitim programının, üniversite öğrencilerinin akademik erteleme
davranışlarına etkisini ve bu etkinin kalıcılığını araştırmaktır. Bu programda akademik erteleme
davranışı gösteren 24 öğrenci ile çalışılmıştır. Gün ve saati uygun olan 12 öğrenci deney grubu olarak
eğitim programına alınmıştır. Psiko-eğitim programının etkililiğini sınamak için 12 öğrenci de kontrol
grubuna atanmıştır. Katılımcılar belirlendikten sonra her biri ortalama 120 dakika süren 8 oturumluk
psiko-eğitim programı hazırlanmıştır. Ölçme aracı aynı veri grubuna üç defa uygulandığından karışık
desenler için iki faktörlü anova analizi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak üniversite öğrencilerinde akademik
erteleme davranışının bir problem olduğu görülmüştür. Eğitimi alan grubun erteleme puanlarının
düştüğü gözlenirken eğitime katılmayan grubun puanlarda herhangi bir değişim olmamıştır. Deney
grubu için izleme çalışmasının sonuçlarına bakıldığında öntest puanlarından anlamlı derecede
farklılaştığı ve ön test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark oluşmadığı belirlenmiştir.
How Effective is a Person Centered Therapy based on Psychoeducation Program on Academic Procrastination? AnEvaluation Study
The aim of this study is to decrease the academic procrastination tendency of university
students and develop a psycho-education program to cope with academic pocrastination behavior. 12
available students demonstrating academic procrastination behavior were included in the training
program. Also, 12 students were included in the study as a control group to test the effectiveness of the
psycho-education program. After the participants were identified, an 8-session psycho-education
program was prepared, each of which lasted around 120 minutes. As the measuring tool was applied to
the same data group three times, two-factor anova analysis was performed for mixed design. As a result,
academic procrastination behavior in university students has been identified as a problem. In the group
that participated in the psycho-education program, academic procrastination scores decreased, but there
was no change in the scores of the groups that did not participate in the program. When the results of the
follow-up study were examined, it was found that there was no significant difference between the pretest score and the final test scores
