Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı ülkemizde az sayıda hizmet veren çocuk psikiyatrisi kliniklerinden biri olan kliniğimizde yatan hastaların sosyodemografi k ve klinik özelliklerini incelemektir. Yöntem: Çalışmamızda 2017-2018 yılları arasıUludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Çocuk Psikiyatrisi kliniğinde yatarak tedavi gören 186 çocuğun yatış ve taburculuktaki klinik ve sosyodemografi k verileri incelenmiştir. Değerlendirmeler, Bilgi Toplama Formu, Okul ÇağıÇocuklarıİçin Duygulanım Bozuklukları ve Şizofreni Görüşme Çizelgesi- Şimdi ve Yaşam Boyu Şekli (ÇDŞG-ŞY-T) ve Klinik Global İzlem Ölçeği (KGİÖ) ile yapılmıştır. Sonuç: Hastaların yaş ortanca değerinin 15 yıl (min:5, max:17), ve %31.9’unun erkek olduğu görülmüştür. En sık yatışa neden olan belirtiler sırasıyla intihar düşüncesi veya girişimi (%26.3), mutsuzluk (%12.4), sinirlilik (%10.8), psikotik belirtiler (%15.7) ve yemek yememe ya da tıkınırcasına yeme (%7.6) olarak izlenmiştir. En sık konulan tanılar ise sırasıyla depresyon (%47.3), psikotik bozukluklar (%11.8) ve yeme bozuklukları (%8.1) olarak belirlenmiştir. Hastaların %9.6’ı ilaçsız taburcu edilirken, %37.6’i tek, %45.6‘sı ikili, %6.9’u üçlü psikotrop ilaç ile taburcu edilmiştir. Antipsikotikler (%67.74) ve antidepresanlar (%54.3) en sık kullanılan ilaçlar olarak belirlenmiştir. Yatış ve taburculuk KGİ puanları arasında anlamlı fark saptanmıştır (p<0.001). Tartışma: Bu konuyla ilişkili çalışmaların artması ve deneyimlerin paylaşılması, gelişmekte olan çocuk ve ergen ruh sağlığı alanına önemli katkılar sağlayacaktır.

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the sociodemographic and clinical traits of adolescents who were treated in inpatient unit of our clini which is one of the few clinics in our country. Method: In this study clinical and socidemographic features of 186 children, who had been treated in inpatient unit of Uludag University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Inpatient Clinic between 2017 and 2018, were investigated fi rstly, during the time when they were in inpatient unit and secondarily at the time when they were discharged Their sociodemographic and clinical features were evaluated by information collection forms, Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia (KSADS), and Clinic Global Index (CGI). Results: The median age of the patients was 15 (min.5, max.17)., and 31.9% of them were males. The most common symptoms leading to hospitalization were suicidal thoughts and attempts (%26.3), anhedonia (12.4%), irritability (10.8%), psychotic symptoms (15.7%), refusal of food or binge eating (%7.6%). The most common diagnoses were depression (47.3%), psychotic disorders (11.8%) and eating disorders (8.1%). 9.6% of the patients were discharged without any medication, whereas 37.6% of the patients were discharged with one psychotropic drug, 45.6% of the patients were discharged with twopsychotropic drugs and 6.9% of the patients were discharged with threepsychotropic drugss. Antipsychotics (67.74%) and antidepressants (54.3%) were reported as the most common used drugs. There was a signifi cant difference between hospitalization and discharge CGI scores of patients (p<0.001). Discussion: Increasing the number of studies on this subject and sharing of experiences will provide important contributions for the child and adolescent psychiatry area
