Bu yazıda, bir psikolog tarafından değerlendirilen ve psikoterapi uygulanmakta iken eşini öldürmeye ve İntihara kalkışması sonrasında adli psikiyatri kliniğine gönderilen psikotik bir olgu sunulmuştur. Bu olgudan yola çıkılarak, psikotik hastada tehlikeliliğin belirlenmesi ve önlenmesine yönelik tedavi konularında ruh sağlığı çalışanlarının yükümlülükleri yasal ve etik açıdan tartışılmıştır.

In this paper, a psychotic patient who was sent to a forensic psychiatry clinic after he had tried to kill his wife and to commit suicide after he had been assessed and taken into a psychotherapy program by a psychologist, is described. By this case, the responsibilities of mental health professionals, the dangerousness and prevention of such behaviours of psychotic patients are discussed in the context of legal and ethical considerations.
