Organik fosforlu esterlerin oluşturduğu akut intoksikasyon tabloları oldukça iyi bilinmekle birlikte, bu bileşiklerin yol açtığı akut intoksikasyon bulguları görülmezken, geç olarak ortaya çıkan, oldukça seyrek görülen polinöropati tabloları da vardır. Biz bu yazıda organik fosforlu insektisidlerin yol açtığı bir gecikmiş polinöropati olgusu sunduk ve günlük hayatta sıklıkla kullanılan bu maddelerin yapabileceği bu tip yan etkilere dikkat çekmeyi amaçladık.

Acute intoxication cases due to the organic phos-porus esters are well known. However there are some rare cases of polyneuropathy without acute intoxication but with delayed onset. In this article a case of such delayed polyneuropathy due to these compounds was presented and possible ad­verse effects of these insecticides which are widely used in our daily life was stressed.
