Gerekçe: Bu çalışmanın amacı, cinsel sorunları ol­madığını belirten evli erkeklerin cinsel işlevlerinin ve olası bozukluklarının araştırılmasıydı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çakşmaya cinsel işlevi etkileyen fiziksel hastalığı ve ilaç kullanımı olmayan, cinsel işlevlerini "normal" kabul eden 70 evli erkek kabul edilmiştir. Psikiyatrik tanılar için DSM-IV ölçütleri kullanıldı. Tüm olgular cinsel öykü formu üzerinde Schover ve arkadaşlarının çok eksenli tanımlayıcı sistemine göre değerlendirilerek tanıları belirlendi. Sonuçlar: İncelenen 70 evli erkeğin yaşı 21-54 arasında olup, yaş ortalaması 36.29± 7.3 olarak bulundu. 17'sine (% 24) distimik bozukluk, 21'ine (%30) yaygın anksiyete bozukluğu, 11'ine (% 16) hipokondriyazis, 8'ine (%11) konversiyon bozuklu­ğu, 4'üne (%6) obsesif-kompulsif bozukluk, 4'üne (%6) übbi durumu etkileyen psikolojik etkenler, 3'üne (%4) agorafobili panik bozukluk, l'ine (%1) psikolojik etkenlerin eşlik ettiği ağn bozukluğu, line (%1) kişilik bozukluğu tanılan konuldu. Olgu­ların % 26'sına hiçbir cinsel işlev bozukluğu tanısı konmazken, % 74'ünde cinsel işlev bozuklukları saptandı. Tanıların çoğu orgazm ekseninde idi. Değerlendirme: Cinsel işlev bozukluğu sıklığını benzer çalışmalardan daha yüksek bulduk. Bu so­nuçta iki önemli etken rol oynamaktaydı. Birincisi, çok eksenli tanımlayıcı sisteme göre, cinsel istek ve sıklık doyumsuzluğu gibi durumlar değerlendirildi. İkinci olarak, toplumumuzda cinsel birleşmeyi en­gellemeyen ve erkeklik kavramını zedelemeyen boşalma bozuklukları sorun kabul edilmemekteydi.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investiga­te sexual functions and probable dysfunctions of married men who explained to had no sexual prob­lems.
Material and Method: 70 married men who had not physical illnesses which affected sexual functi­ons and did not use drugs were admitted at this study. DSM-IV criteria was used for psychiatric di­agnoses. The cases were evaluated on "Sexual his­tory form" (SHF) and categorized according to the multiaxial descriptive system which was developed by Schover et al.
Results: The sample consisted of 70 males with an age range of 21-54 and a mean age of 36,29+7.3 [year]s .24% of all cases had Dysthymic Disorder, 30% Generalized Anxiety Disorder, 16% Hypoc­hondriasis, 11% Conversion Disorder, 6% Obsessi­ve-Compulsive Disorder, 6% Psychological Factors affecting Medical Conditions, 4% Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia, 1% Pain Disorder associated with Psychological Factors, 1% Personality Disor­ders. 26 per cent of the men had none of the diag­nosis of sexual dysfunction, and 74 per cent had sexual dysfunctions. The most common diagnosis was m orgasm axis.
Discussion: The results showed that frequency of sexual dysfunctions of the cases was more com­mon than result of same surveys. We suggested that two important factors should be played role for this result. First, sexual desire and frequency of dissatisfaction were evaluated according to mul­tiaxial descriptive system. Secondly, our popula­tion had not been accepted to be problem which was ejaculation disorders that did not prevent sex­ual intercourse and injure feelings of masculinity.
