Gerekçe: Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağ hemisfer lez-yonlannda allochirianın sıklığını, klinik özelliklerini ve sorumlu lezyon lokalizasyonunu belirlemektir. Yöntem: Rastgele seçilmiş 60 sağ hemisferik akut serebrovasküler lezyonlu hastada dokunsal, işitsel ve görsel allochirianın sıklığı, klinik özellikleri ve düzelme profili, sorumlu lezyon lokalizasyonlan araştırılmıştır. Allochiria basit uyaranlarla akut ve kontrol dönemde olmak üzere iki kez değerlendiril­miştir. Ayrıca vücut şema bozukluğu, motor imper-sistans, motor prozodi bozukluğu, konstrüksiyonel ve vizüospasyal bozukluk uygun testlerle araştırıl­mıştır. Lezyonlar 37 anatomik beyin bölgesi teme­linde lokalize edilmiştir.
Sonuçlar: Akut dönemde 14'ü yalnızca dokunsal, l'i tüm modalitelerde, 11 de yalnızca işitsel olmak üzere, 16 hastada (%27) allochiria gözlenmiştir. İki olguda kon trot döneminde de dokunsal allochria sürmektedir. Başlıca serebral tutuluş bölgeleri ko­rona radiata ve putamendir (%56). Tüm olgularda değişik derecelerde eşlik eden diğer nöropsikolojik bozukluklar vardır.
Değerlendirme: Allochirianın tanımlanmasından bu yana literatürde sıklığı, lezyon lokalizasyonu ve özellikle üzerine yeterli veri yoktur. Bu çalışma allochiriadan başlıca derin serebral lezyonlann sorumlu olduğu, haftalar içinde büyük çoğunlukla düzeldiğini ve gerçekte klinik pratikte oldukça sık rastlandığını göstermiştir

Object: The aim of this study was to determine the frequency, clinical feahures and responsible lesion localization of alloctiria in right hemisphere lesions. Method: The frequency, clinical features and responsible lesion localizations of tactile, auditory and visual allochiria were investigated in 60 ran­domized patients with right hemispheric acute cerebrovascular lesions. Allochiria was assessed by using simple stimuli in both acute and control phases. Body scheme disorders, motor impersis-tence, motor prosody disorder, constructional and visuospatial disorders were also evaluated with appropriate tests. The lesions were localized according to 37 different anatomical brain regions. Results: Sixteen patients with allochiria (27%) were identified in the acute phase, 14 with only tactile, 1 with multimodal and another with only auditory al­lochiria. In control phase, tactile allochiria was las­ting in two cases. Corona radiata and putamen we­re the principal involvement sites (56%). There were other neuropsychological disorders with different degrees in all cases in addition to allochiria. Discussion: There are no sufficient data about the features of allochiria in the literature since its ori­ginal description. This study shows that mainly deep cerebral lesions are responsible for allochiria and allochiria mostly subsides within weeks and it is rather frequent in clinical practice.
