Şizofreni, depresyon ve alkolizmde frontal bölge işlevselliğinin değerlendirilmesi

Amaç: Kronik seyirli olma eğilimli üç büyük psikiyatrik tanı grubu, şizofreni, depresyon ve alkolizmin beyindeki yapısal etkileri ve ilişkili bilişsel işlevler konusunda pek çok tartışma bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, söz konusu tanı gruplarında frontal bölge işlevlerini incelemek, söz konusu bozuklukların frontal bölge işlevselliği ile ilgili olma durumunu belirlemektir.
Yöntem: Örneklem grubu toplam 120 denekten oluşmuş, üç tanı grubu ve kontrol grubunun her birinde 40'ar denek yer almıştır. Deneklerin yaşları 20-55 arasında değişmiştir. Nörokognitif özellikler Wisconsin Kart Eşleme Testi (WKET) ve Stroop Testi TBAG Formu (ST-TBAG) ile değerlendirilmiştir. Aşırı puanlara sahip denekler örneklem dışında bırakılmıştır. Puanlar üzerinde eğitimin etkisi görüldüğünden, verilerin analizinde, eğitimin ortak değişken olarak ele alındığı kovaryans analizi kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular ve Sonuç: Analiz sonuçları, gruplar arasında WKET 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 ve 11; ST 3a, 3c, 4a ve 5a puanları açısından anlamlı farklar olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Genelde, şizofreni ve alkolizm grubunun bilişsel işlevler açısından benzeştiği, her ikisinin puanlarının depresyon ve kontrol grubununkinden daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür.
Assesment of frontal lobe functions in schizophrenia, depression and alcoholism
Objective: There have been many concern about cognitive functions due to structural brain changes in most seen psychiatric disorders, schizophrenia, depression and alcoholism that almost have tendency of chronically and progressive course. The aim of this study was to examine frontal lobe functions and to determine whether there was a functional disorder resulting from these psychiatric disorders or not.
Method: Samples was totally include 120 people; every each of groups were include 40 people. Subjects were 20-55 [year]s age range. WCST (Wisconsin Card Sorting Test) and ST-TBAG Form (Stroop Test Principle Scientific Experimental-Devolopmental Form) were used to asssesment of neurocognitive characteristics. In statistical analysis extreme values were excluded. Since the statistical analysis of the test scores were affected the education level, the education level were taken the covariate variable.
Results and conclusion: It was found that significiance differences in sample groups in terms of WCST 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11; ST 3a, 3c, 4a ve 5a scores. Generally, it was found that schizophrenic and alcoholism patient groups were resembled each other and differed from depressive disorder and healthy controls.
