Bu yazıda son yıllarda şizofreni fenomenolojisinde sıklıkla üzerinde durulmaya başlanmış olan defisit sendrom kavramının ne olduğu, nasıl geliştiğine dair tarihçesi, tanı kriterleri ve konuyla ilgili olarak yapılmış araştırmalardan özetler sunularak tartışılmıştır.

In this article, the definition, the history, clinical aspects and prodromal symptoms of the deficit syndrome has been reviewed. This syndrome has become a topic of interest in the recent publications about schizophrenia phenomenology. This review has been made in the light of recent studies in this subject.
