Bir Frontal Lob Epilepsisi Olgusu

Frontal lobdan kaynaklanan parsiyel nöbetler bazen değişik, garip ve şaşırtıcı iktal özellikler göstermekte, çoğu zaman da psikojenik nöbetlerle karışmaktadır. Bu yazıda nöbetlerin psikojenik olabileceği düşünülerek psikiyatri bölümüne sevkedilen, ancak hastanın öyküsü, iktal ve interiktal EEG’leri ve gözlenen atakları sonucunda frontal epilepsi olduğu anlaşılan bir vaka sunularak, frontal lob parsiyel nöbetlerinin tanı ve ayırıcı tanısı literatür bilgileri ile tartışıldı.

A Case of Frontal Lobe Seizures

The bizare and astonishing ictal characteristics of frontal lobe origined partial seizures make its differantiation from psychogenic seizures difficult. The present paper comprises a case report and a discussion about the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of frontal lobe partial seizures in the light of recent literature.
