Sistemik Lupus Eritematosus'da Nöropsikiyatrik Görünüm: Olgu Sunumu ve Gözden Geçirme

Sistemik Lupus Eritematosus (SLE) birçok sistem tutulumu ile giden otoimmün bir hastalıktır. Merkezi Sinir Sistemi (MSS) tutulumu SLE’nin en önemli ve en sık görülen komplikasyonudur. Hastalık ilk kez nöropsikiyatrik belirtilerle (NP) belirgin hale gelirse SLE tanısı koymak güçtür. SLE-NP belirtileri depresyon, organik beyin sendromu, nöbetler, psikoz, parezi, başağrısı ve diğer nörolojik ve psikiyatrik belirtilerdir. Bu yazıda MSS tutulumu ile karakterize bir vaka sunulduktan sonra SLE’nin NP belirtileri gözden geçirilmiştir.
Neuropsychiatric Manifestations of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Case Report and Review of The Literature
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease characterized by multisystem manifestations. Central Nervous System involvement is a common and important complication in SLE. When the neuropsychiatric manifestations (NP) constitute the initial presentation of the disease it is difficult to establish the correct diagnosis. Neuropsychiatric Lupus (NP-SLE) is associated with depression, organic brain syndrome, seizures, psychosis, paresis, headache and other neurologic and psychiatric symptoms. An illustrative case of NP-SLE and a review of the NP manifestations of SLE is presented.
