Ruhsal sorunları nedeniyle bir psikiyatri uzmanına başvuran hastaların tedavi işbirliğini etkileyen etkenleri araştırmak için 628 hastanın izleme kartları incelenmiştir. Hastaların %34’ünün düzenli, %22’sinin düzensiz olarak tedaviye devam ettikleri, %44’ünün ise ilk görüşmeden sonra tekrar gelmediği görülmüştür. Bu üç grup yaş, cinsiyet, sosyo-ekonomik durum, eğitim düzeyi, tanı ve prognozları yönünden karşılaştırılmıştır. Eğitim düzeyi yüksek ve sosyo-ekonomik durumu iyi hastalar ile major depresyon, bipolar bozukluk, panik bozukluğu, obsesif-kompulsif bozukluk tanı hataların tedaviye düzenli devam ettikleri, somatizasyon bozukluğu, distimik bozukluk, şizofreni tanılı hastaların ise düzensiz devam etme eğiliminde oldukları görülmüştür. Tedaviye düzenli devam, prognozu olumlu etkilemektedir.

In order to investigate the therapeutic compliance and the factors that influence the collaboration of the psychiatric patients, case files of 628 outpatients have been re-evaluated. Patients were divided in three groups as regular attendants (34%), non-regular attendants (22%) and those having no compliance (44%). Groups were compared with each other according to age, sex, educational and socioeconomic status, diagnosis and prognosis. It was observed that higher educational level and higher socioeconomic status had positive correlation with therapeutic compliance. Patients diagnosed as major depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder had better compliance than somatization disorder, dysthymic disorder and schizophrenic patients.
