Bu çalışma can kavramı odağında kadın sağlığını bir can sağlığı olarak felsefe ağırlıklı bir yaklaşımla ele almaktadır. Henüz literatüre girmemiş dysthêleia kavramı kadının canını oluşturamamasını dile getiriyor. Bu kavramı açabilmek amacıyla önce can kavramını sonra da can sağlığı ve kadının can sağlığı kavramları tartışılıyor. Sonuç olarak kadının can sağlığını engelleyen etkenlerin yanında destekleyen etkenler de gözden geçiriliyor.

In this study women's health is the focus of concern on the basis of the concept of vital integrity which is called in Turkish "can" (pronounced like "john"). "Can" has four basic components: 1. Body 2. Feeling 3. Reason 4. Environment. Those who have "can" are able to orchestrate four basic components of their "cans". "Can" can be characterized by three main properties: Integrity, Vitality and Uniqueness. So two main questions of this study are the following: 1. what are the main obstacles that prevent women to realize themselves as "cans"? 2. What are the supporting factors that help women to live their life as "cans"?
