Son yıllarda suça sürüklenen çocuk sayısı artarak önemli bir toplumsal sorun halini almıştır. Bu toplumsal sorun kişinin biyolojik ve psikolojik karakter yapısı ile sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel etkenlerin etkileşmesi sonucu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Çocuk suçluluğunda ailesel, bireysel, çevresel, sosyolojik, psikolojik birçok neden araştırılmıştır. Bu durumun birçok risk faktörünün etkileşimi ile ortaya çıkan karmaşık bir süreç olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu derlemede suça sürüklenen çocukların biyopsikososyal özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesi, öngörücü risk faktörlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

In recent years, increase in the number of children driven to crime becomes an important social problems. This social problem is the result of the biological and psychological character of the person interacting with social, economic and cultural factors. Familial, individual, environmental, sociological and psychological reasons have been explored in juvenile delinquency. It is known a complicated process that occurs with the interaction of many risk factors. The aim of this review is to evaluate the biopsychosocial characteristics of juvenile delinquency and to look at predictive risk factors.
