Bu çalışmanın amacı, kanserli çocukların ruhsal durumlarını incelemektir. Araştırma ve kontrol grubunu oluşturan çocukların annelerine, Çocuklar içn depresyon Ölçeği’nin Anne Baba Formu ve Hacettepe Ruhsal Uyum Ölçeği verildi. Çocuklar için Depresyon Ölçeği’nin Anne Baba Formu’nun ve Hacettepe Ruhsal Uyum Ölçeği’nin değerlendirme sonuçları, araştırma grubunda yüksek olmakla birlikte, aradaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmadı. Kanserli çocukların uyumları, bulgular ve yazın ışığında tartışıldı.

In this study, the psychological states of the children who have cancer were assessed. Children’s Depression Inventory (Parent Form) and Hacettepe Emotional Adjustment Scale were edministered to 18 mothers whose children have cancer and 24 mothers of healthy children. Children’s Depression Inventory (Parent Form) and Hacettepe Emotional Ajustment Scale scores were found higher in children with cancer compared to healthy children, but the difference was not statistically significant. Their adjustment were discussed with respect to related literature.
