Yasak-sevi (insest) ve yasak-sevi ile ilgili kurallar çok uzun zamandan beri insanoğlunu uğraştırmıştır. Bir yandan sosyal bilimciler yasak-sevi tabusunun kökenini araştırırken, diğer yandan, son yıllarda, kadın hareketi ve çocuk koruyucuları gibi bazı gruplar konuyu kamuoyunun gündemine getirmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Böylece sorun çeşitli yönleriyle ele alınmaktadır. Bu yazıda yasak-sevi konusundaki belli başlı görüşler kısaca gözden geçirilecektir.
