Bu çalışmada 16 ay süreyle, haftada bir, 1.5 saatlik dinamik yönelimli, açık grup psikoterapisi sürecinde işleyen tedavi edici etmenler incelendi. Üyelere onuncu, ondördüncü (iki kez) ve onaltıncı aylarda Yalom’un tedavi edici etmenler anketi verildi. Sonuçta elde edilen değerler bireysel ve grup genelinde değerlendirildi. Başlangıçta evrensellik, kendini anlama ve katarsis en çok yararlanılan tedavi edici etmenler olarak değerlendirilirken süre ilerledikçe kişiler arası öğrenme, grup bağlılığı ve varoluşsal etmenler artış gösterdiler.

In this study, therapeutic factors were examined in an open-ended, dynamically oriented group, that met for 1.5 hours every week over a period of 16 [month]s. Patients were given Yalom’s therapeutic factors questionnaire at the tenth, fourteenth (twice) and sixteenth [month]s. Findings concerning the patients’ self evaluations on Yalom’s 12 therapeutic factors are evaluated separately for each group member and for the group. While universality, self-understanding and catharsis were found to be the most helpful therapeutic factors at the beginning of the psychotherapy, as the time passed interpersonal learning, cohesiveness and existential factors became most helpful.
