Bu yazı iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, şizofreninin negatif belirtileri tanımlanmakta ve günümüzdeki sağaltım yaklaşımları anlatılmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise, negatif belirtiler konusundaki yapısal ve biyokimyasal varsayımlar gözden geçirilmekte, kalıtımsal ve çevresel etkenlerin negatif belirtilerin oluşumundaki rolleri tartışılmaktadır.

This article consists of two sections. In the first section, negative symptoms of schizophrenia were defined and current treatment approaches to these symptoms were adderessed. In the second section, structural and biochemical theories on negative symptoms and the roles of genetic and environmental factors in the development of negative symptoms were discussed.
