Bu çalışmada, bilgisayarlı içerik çözümlemesi yönteminin tanı amaçlı genel kullanımı durumunda saptanacak doğru sınıflama oranı araştırıldı. Bu amaçla, 20 depresif, 20 manik, 20 şizofrenik ve 20 sağlıklı kontrolden oluşan birinci örneğin konuşmalarından üretilen disriminant fonksiyonlarını tanı koyan ÇGP (Çapraz Geçerlilik Programı) geliştirildi. ÇGP ile 120 deneği (30 manik, 30 depresif, 30 şizofrenik hasta ve 30 sağlıklı kontrol) içeren ikinci örnek %48.33 oranında doğru sınıflandırıldı. Duyarlık (sensitivity) depresyon için %53.3, mani için %40, şizofreni için %33.3 ve sağlıklı kontrol için %66.7 olarak saptandı. Özgüllük (specificity) ise depresyon için %88.3, mani için %86.66, şizofreni için %80 ve sağlıklı kontrol için %81.11 olarak bulundu.

In this study, the correct classification rate of computerized content analysis method was investigated for general clinical use. For this purpose, we developed a cross validation program using the discriminant functions produced from the speech of the first sample including 20 depressive, 20 manic, 20 schizophrenic patients and 20 normal controls. Of the 120 subjects of the second sample (consisting of 30 depressive, 30 manic, 30 schizophrenic patients and 30 normal controls), 48.33% were correctly classified into the diagnostic groups by this program. The sensitivity of the program (rate of positive outcome) was 53.3% in major depression, 40% in mania, 33.3% in schizophrenia and 66.7% in normal controls. The specificity (true negative outcome) of the program was 83.3% in major depression, 86.66% in mania, 80% in schizophrenia and 81.11% in normal controls.
