Behçet Hastalığında Psikososyal Etkenler ve Ruhsal Bulgular

Bu çalışmaya, ÇÜTF Göz Hastalıkları polikliniğinde Behçet Hastalığı tanısıyla izlenen 60 hasta alındı. Hastalara Beck Depresyon, Beck Umutsuzluk, Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçekleriyle Spielberger Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri uygulandı. Sonuçta atakları sık ve şiddetli geçenlerin Beck Depresyon, Beck Umutsuzluk ölçekleri ile Spielberger Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri puanları, atakları, seyrek ve haifif geçenlerden istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde yüksek bulundu. Halen atakta olan hastaların Beck Depresyon, Beck Umutsuzluk Ölcekleri ile Spielberger Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri puanları da atakta olmayanlardan anlamlı düzeyde yüksekti. Kortikosteroid kullanan hastalarda depresyon, umutsuzluk ve kaygı puanları kortikosteroid kullanmayan hastalardan daha yüksek bulundu. Göz muayenesinde her iki gözde görmesi 1/10 ve üzerinde olanların Beck Depresyon ve Beck Umutsuzluk Ölçekleri puanları her iki gözde de görmesi el hareketleri, parmak sayma ya da persepsiyon düzeyinde olanlara ya da hiç görmesi olmayanlara göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde düşüktü.
Psychosocial Factors and Psychiatric Aspects Behçet’s Disease
In the present study, Beck Depression, Beck Hopelessness and Toroto Alexithymia Scales, Spielberger State and Trait Anxiety Inventory were performed in 60 patients with Behçet’s disease, who have been followed in the Uvea-Immunology Clinic in Department of Ophthalmology of Çukurova University. The scores of Beck Depression and Beck Hopelesssness Scales, and Spielberger State and Trait Inventory were significantly higher in patients presenting with frequent and severe ocular attacks than the ones presenting with rare and milder attacks. Also patients who had an ocular attack during the study had significantly higher scores than the ones without any eye symptoms during that time. There was a statistically significant difference between the scores of patients under corticosteroid treatment and without this treatment. Patients who had 0.1 or a higher visual acuity in both eyes had significantly lower scores of Beck Depression and Beck Hopelessness Scales than the patients having a visual acuity of counting fingers, hand motions or perception-projection; or without any light perception in both eyes.
