DSM-5 Düzey 2 Depresyon Ölçeği Türkçe Formunun Güvenilirliği ve Geçerliliği (11-17 yaş çocuk formu ve 6-17 yaş ebeveyn formu)

Bu çalışmada DSM-5 Düzey 2 Depresyon Ölçeğinin Türkçe sürümünün güvenilirliği ve
geçerliliğinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma grupları, çocuk psikiyatri kliniğinde tedavi
gören ve depresif bozukluk tanısı alan klinik örneklem ile toplum örnekleminden oluşmuştur.
Çalışma, 218 çocuk ve 160 ebeveyn ile yürütülmüştür. Değerlendirmede DSM-5 Düzey 2
Depresyon Ölçeğinin yanı sıra Çocuklar İçin Depresyon Ölçeği ve Güçler ve Güçlükler Anketi
Ebeveyn Formu kullanılmıştır. Güvenilirlik analizlerinde, Cronbach alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısı çocuk
ve ebeveyn formları için çok yüksek düzeyde (0,965/0,952) bulunmuştur. Madde-toplam puan
bağıntı katsayıları yüksek ve çok yüksek düzeydedir (çocuk formu için 0,725 ve 0,864 ebeveyn
formu için 0,644 ve 0,839) ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Yapı geçerliliğinde her iki formda da bir
faktör elde edilmiştir ve ölçeğin orijinal yapısı ile uyumlu bulunmuştur. Birlikte geçerlilikte ölçeğin
çocuk formunun Çocuklar İçin Depresyon Ölçeği ile ebeveyn formunun ise Güçler ve Güçlükler
Anketi Ebeveyn Formu ile anlamlı korelasyon (r=0,853 p<0,0001; r=0,682 p<0,0001) gösterdiği
saptanmıştır. DSM-5 Düzey 2 Depresyon Ölçeğinin Türkçe sürümü hem klinik uygulamada hem
araştırmalarda güvenilir ve geçerli biçimde kullanılabilir.
Reliability and Validity Of The DSM-5 Level 2 Depression Scale- Turkish Version (Child Form for 11-17 years and Parent Form for 6-17 Years)
This study aimed to assess the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of The DSM-5 Level 2
Depression Scale. The study group included a case group that consisted of a clinical sample diagnosed
with depressive disorder that continues the treatment in a child and adolescent psychiatry unit and
a community sample. The study was carried out with 218 children and 160 parents. The Child
Depression Inventory and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire-Parent Form were used along
with the DSM-5 Level 2 Depression Scale for the assessment. In reliability analyses, Cronbach’s alpha
internal consistency coefficient was found to be very high for child and parent forms (0.965/0.952).
Item-total score correlation coefficients are high and very high respectively, and were found to be
consistent with the original structure of the scale (0.725 and 0.864 for child form 0.644 and 0.839
for parent form). Same factor was obtained in both forms as to structural validity, and this is found
to be in accordance with its original structure of the scale. As for concurrent validity, child form
had a high correlation with the Children’s Depression Inventory while parent form had a significant
correlation with Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire-Parent Form (r=0.853 p<0.0001; r=0.682
p<0.0001). Turkish version of the DSM-5 Level 2 Depression Scale can be used as a valid and
reliable instrument both in clinical practices and for research purposes.
