This chapter summarizes of other medical conditions in differential diagnosis of anxiety in childhood and adolescence, also highlighting critical aspects of developmentally sensitive clinical approach. The core challenge in this age span is the vulnerability to risk factors. Early recognition of other medical conditions at the "psychiatric stage" is imperative for effective prevention and management, as many of these conditions are reversible with appropriate treatment.
