Bu araştırmanın amacı Štulhofera ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen The New Sexual Satisfaction Scale (NSSS) [Yeni Cinsel Doyum (YCDÖ)] ölçeğin Türkçe formunun psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya 400 (200 kadın/200 erkek) kişi katılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına göre YCDÖ ölçeğinin iyi düzeyde uyum indekslerine sahip olduğu görülmüştür. İç tutarlık katsayısının kadınlarda .94, erkeklerde .95 olarak hesaplandığı ölçekte, madde-toplam korelasyonlarının yeterli düzeyde temsil gücüne sahip olduğu gözlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlara göre Türkçe YCDÖ Türk kadınlarında ve erkeklerinde cinsel doyumu değerlendirmede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu söylenebilir.

The purpose of this study is to examine the psychometric properties of Turkish form of the New Sexual Satisfaction Scale (NSSS) that was developed by Štulhofera et al. (2010). The study was conducted on 200 male and 200 female. The results of Confirmatory Factor Analysis showed that NSSS had good fit indexes. The internal consistency coefficient was accounted as .82, item total correlations showed good level representativeness, and the scale provided the criterion validity. Accordingly, this study suggests that the Turkish form of the The New Sexual Satisfaction Scale could be a useful assessment tool when it comes to measuring sexual satisfaction in Turkey.
