Amaç: Bu çalışmada, davranım bozukluğu tanısı alan çocuk ve gençlerde depresyon birlikteliği araştırılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma grubunu, 17 yaşın altındaki davranım bozukluğu tanısı alan 95; kontrol grubunu ise, çeşitli psikiyatrik tanılar alan ancak davranım bozukluğu tanı ölçütlerini karşılamayan 41 çocuk ve ergen oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada DSM-IV tam ölçütleri kullanılmış; özbildirim ölçekleri olarak, Beck Depresyon Envanteri, Çocuklar İçin Depresyon Ölçeği Kendi ve Ana Baba Formu uygulanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirmesi SPSS paket programında Ki-kare, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Mann Whitney-U testi ve Kruskal Wallis testiyle yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Davranım bozukluğunun, depresyonla % 18.9 oranında birliktelik gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Davranım bozukluğu tanısı alan kızların depresyonla istatistiksel olarak anlamlı birliktelik gösterdiği izlenmiştir. 13 yaşından büyük gençlerde de, davranım bozukluğu ile depresyon arasında belirgin ilişki bulunmuştur. Çalışmada, davranım bozukluğu depresyon birlikteliğinin yaş ve cinsiyet özellikleri yanı sıra ailede boşanmanın varlığı, bozukluğun tipi ve ağırlık derecesiyle ilişkisi de araştırılmıştır. Tartışma: Bulgular, davranım bozukluğunun etiolojisinde, gidişinde, tedavisinde ve sınıflandırılmasında komorbid olarak bulunan depresif bozukluğun önemini ve yerini göstermiştir.

Objective: In this study, the comorbidity of depression in children and adolescents with a diagnosis of conduct disorder were assessed in the outpatient clinic. Method: 95 children and adolescents under the age of 17 with diagnoses of conduct disorder were assessed in the outpatient clinic and the comorbidity of depression was examined. Forty-one children and adolescent who did not meet the criteria of conduct disorder according to DSM IV but met other psychiatric disorders' criteria were chosen for the control group. The following self-report scales were administered: Beck Depression Inventory, Children 's Depression Inventory - Child and Parent Form. The data were evaluated by chi square, t-test, ANOVA. Mann Whitney-U and Kruskall Wallis through the use of SPSS Pc package program. Results: 18.9% of children and adolescents who were diagnosed as conduct disorder also met the criteria for depression. Conduct disorder and depression comorbidity was more frequent in girls. Among adolescents over 13 years old, a statistically significant comorbidity was found between conduct disorder and depression. In this study, the correlation between some specific variables of conduct disorder as age, sex, divorce rate, the type and the severity of the disorder and comorbid disorders were also investigated. Conclusion: The results of this study showed the importance and the role of the comorbid disorders in the etiology, course, prognosis, treatment and classification of the conduct disorder.
