Ankara Conners Ölçekleri öğretmenlere nasıl uygulanmalı: İki farklı uygulama biçiminin karşılaştırılması

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Ankara Conners Ölçeklerinin öğretmenlere farklı formatlarda uygulanması durumunda, ölçeklerin psikometrik özelliklerinin ne yönde değişeceği araştırılmıştır. Yöntem: Bir ilköğretim okulunda yapılan uygulamalarda, bir grup öğretmene Conners Öğretmen Derecelendirme Ölçeği ’ni içeren formlar dağıtılırken, diğer bir gruba da ayrı ayrı Ankara Conners alt-ölçeklerini içeren formlar dağıtılmıştır. Birinci tür form üzerinde 17 öğretmen tarafından yapılan 200 öğrenciye yönelik derecelendirmeler araştırmanın kontrol durumunu oluştururken, ikinci tür form üzerinde başka 17 öğretmen tarafından 204 öğrenci için yapılan derecelendirmeler de deney durumunu oluşturmuştur. Bulgular: Alt-Ölçekler arasında deney durumunda gözlenen korelasyonlar, kontrol durumunda gözlenenlerden belirgin farklılık göstermemiştir. Öte yandan, alt-ölçeklerin tümü için deney durumunda konrol durumuna göre daha yüksek iç tutarlık katsayıları hesaplanmıştır. Tartışma: Ankara Conners alt-ölçeklerinin ayrı ölçekler biçiminde uygulanması durumunda, iç tutarlıkları ve ölçüm nitelikleri yükselmekte ancak hale etkisinde belirgin bir azalma olmamaktadır.
How to administer Ankara Conners’ Scales to teachers: A comparison of two different formats.
Objective: The present study aims to investigate the effects of the administration format on the psychometric properties of Ankara Conners' Scales. Method: The measures were administered to 34 teachers of an elementary school in two different formats. Ratings by one half of the teachers on the entire Conners ’ Teacher Rating Scale (CTRS-28) for a total of 200 students constituted the control situation, whereas ratings by the other half of teachers for 204 students on the Ankara CTRS subscales presented as three independent measures constituted the experimental situation. Results: Correlations among the subscales computed for the experimental situation were approximate to those computed for the control situation. In converse, Cronbach alfa coefficients computed for each subscale were found to be higher in the experimental situation as compared with the control situation. Conclusion: Administration of the Ankara CTRS subscales as independent instruments is associated with higher internal consistency coefficients and measurement quality but without decreased halo effect.
