Antisosyal kişilik bozukluğunda el tercihi, el becerisi ve duygusal algılamanın lateralizasyonu

Amaç: Antisosyal Kişilik Bozukluğunda (AKB) el tercihinin, el dominansının ve duygusal algılama fonksiyonunun nasıl etkilendiğini araştırmaktır. Yöntem : Çalışma DSM-III-R'ye göre AKB tanı ölçütlerini karşılayan 45 mahkum ve 50 kontrol grubuyla yapıldı. El tercihini belirlemek için Edinburg Ölçeği, el becerisini belirlemek için Çivi Testi ve duyguların algılama özelliğini belirlemek için Mutlu- Üzüntülü Yüz Testi uygulandı. Bulgular: İki grubun el tercihleri arasında farklılık bulunmazken, el becerisi sonuçlarına göre karışık ellilikte (p<0.05), sağ ellilikte (p<0.05) ve Mutlu-Üzüntülü Yüz Testi sonuçlarına göre yarı yüz tercihi olmayanların oranlarında istatistiksel olarak farklılık bulundu (p<0.001). Çalışma grubu şiddet davranışı gösteren ve göstermeyen olarak iki gruba ayrıldığında, şiddet davranışı gösteren AKB grubu kontrollere göre ayrıca anlamlı derecede daha az sol yarı yüz tercihi gösterdi (p<0.05). Tartışma: Bu sonuçlar AKB'de anormal serebral dominansı ve şiddet davranışı gösteren ve göstermeyen AKB'na göre değişen sağ hemisfer hipofonksiyonunu düşündürmektedir.
Hand preference, hand skill and lateralization of emotional perception in antisocial personality disorder
Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine how the hand preference, hand skill and perception of emotion is effected in Antisocial Personality Disorder (APD). Method: 45 male offenders who met DSM-III-R criteria for APD and 50 control subjects were recruited to the study. The hand preference was assessed by the Edinburgh Handedness Inventory. To measure the hand skill, Peg Moving Task (PMT) was used. The Happy-Sad Chimeric Faces Task (HCFT) was used to assess perception of facial emotion. Results: The difference between hand preference of the two groups were statistically insignificant (p>0.05). The difference between Right Handedness and Mix Handedness of the two groups were statistically significant (p<0.05) reprect to PMT. The difference between Mix Hemifacial Bias of the two groups was statistically significant (p<0.001) in respect to HCFT. Subjects with APD were divided into two subgroups as violent APD and non-violent APD. Violent APD group exhibited less Left Hemifasiyal Bias than Controls. D iscussion: These results indicate that there may be abnormal cerebral dominance and right hemisphere hypofunction in APD subjects changing to violent and non-violent subgroups.
