Yazıda "euthanasia"nın intihar ve cinayetle ayrımı, "hak" temelinde yapılmaktadır. "Euthanasia"nın ancak hekimin eylemi açısından, buradaki bağlamıyla "hak" olarak görülebileceği, hastanın istemesi açısından bunun söz konusu olamayacağı vurgulanmıştır. Bunun yanında, "euthanasia"da hekimin eyleminin yapılması gereken ve değerli bir eylem olabilmesi için hekimin insan ve insanın değeri üzerine ortaya konmuş olan bilgileri özümsemiş olması yanında, bunlar üzerine düşünmüş olması gerekliliği vurgulanmaktadır.

In this article, "euthanasia" is being distinguished from suicide and homicide on the basis of "right". It is emphasized that "euthanasia" can be claimed as a "right" in our context, only from the aspect of physician's action, but not from the aspect of patient's wish. Besides this, it is pointed out that it is necessary for the physician to digest the knowledge which exists about human being and the value of human being and think about it as well; in order to make his action in euthanasia a necessary and valuable one.
