Yaptığı resimleri inceleyerek çocuk hakkında bazı bilgileri edinmek mümkün olabilmektedir. Çocuğun kendisini yansıtması ve olaylar hakkında duygu ve düşüncelerini ifade etmesinde, yalın bir anlatım aracı olarak resmin önemi büyüktür. Çocuk resimleri değerlendirilirken, çocuğun hikayesi, varsa dosyası incelenmeli, çocuğun öğretmeni, anne-baba ve yakın çevresi ile yapılan görüşme ışığında, çocuğun daha önce yapmış olduğu resimlerle kıyaslanarak bu resimler değerlendirilmelidir. Çocukla resim üzerinde konuşulmalı ve hikayelendirmesine olanak sağlanmalıdır.
Bu çalışmada çocukları tanımada çocukların yapmış oldukları resimlerin önemi, çocuk resimlerindeki bazı çizimlerin anlamları, ihmali ve istismara uğrayan, doğal afet yaşayan çocuklar ile saldırgan çocukların resimlerinin yorumlanması konuları üzerinde durulacak ve bazı önerilerde bulunulacaktır.

To research the pictures which was done by the child can be possible to get some information about the child. To express the child's impression and thoughts about the events and to show his personality, the picture has a great importance as a simple expression way. Utilizing the child's pictures, the child's history if he had a file must be investigated, the conversation which was done with the child's teacher, mother-father and close relatives we can compare the pictures which was done before and after could be evaluated. To speak with child about the picture and to give an opportunity to child though about his picture.
In this study the importance of identifing the children by their pictures which they had done, in child's pictures we will investigate some drowing meanings, between the children whom had a negligence, exploiting, natural disaster and aggressive children's pictures interpretation subjects could be utilized and we will give some suggestions.
