Amaç: Çalışma, Keçiören İlçesi'ndeki (Ankara) genel liseler ve teknik-ticaret-meslek lisesi öğretmenlerinin tükenmişlik durumunun saptanması ve bu durumun bazı sosyo-demografik özelliklere göre irdelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı bîr araştırma olan çalışmanın örneklem grubu (n=366), evrenden (N=1462) sistematik örnekleme ile seçilerek oluşturulmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği ve sosyo-demografik bilgilerin yer aldığı soru formlarının gözlem altında uygulanmasıyla toplanmış ve SPSS ile analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Bağımsız değişkenlerin alt gruplarına göre, tükenmişlik alt boyut düzeyleri karşılaştırıldığında, toplam hizmet süresi 21 yıl ve daha fazla olanların, çalışılan kurumdaki hizmet süresi 16-20 yıl olanla rın, mesleki veriminin "çok iyi" ya da "fena değil" olarak belirtenlerin, mesleki gelecek açısından kendilerini "çok iyi" değerlendirenlerin, üstlerinden 'tier zaman" takdir gördüğünü belirtenlerin, meslek değiştirmeyi planlayanların duygusal tükenme (DT), kişisel başarı (KB) ve duyarsızlaşma (D) puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Araştırma bulgularının analitik çalışmalarla irdelenmesi ve tükenmişliğin eğitim kurumlarında belirli aralıklarla ve sürekti değerlendirilmesi önerilmiştir.
Teachers Burnout According to Some Professional Spesifications
Object: This study has been carried out to define the burnout situation of general, technical, trade and vocational high schools' teachers of Keçiören County (Ankara) and to compare the situation according to some sociodemographic characteristics. Method: The sample group (n=366) of this descriptive study has been chosen from the universe (N=1462) with systematiec sampling method. The data has been collected by applying the questionnaire (Maslach Burnout Inventory and the form for socio-demographic characteristics) in interviews by the researcher and has been analysed with SPSS. Results: A statistically difference has been found between emotional exhaaustion, personal accomplishment, depersonalization average scale scores according to burnout subgroup levels and subgroups of independent variables; those whose total work duration has been 21 [year]s or more, those whose working duration in the instution has been 16-20 [year]s, those who has been reported their professional efficiency as "very good" or "not bad", those who reported themselves "very good" from the point of view of professional future, those who reported "always" recognition from the uppers, those who plan changing the profession. Conclusion: Periodic and continious evaluation of burnout situation in educational institutions and further investigation of findings with analytic studies has been proposed.
