Evlilik için Karşılaştırma Düzeyi Ölçeğinin (EKDÖ) Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sabatelli (1984) tarafından geliştirilen Evlilik İçin Karşılaştırma Düzeyi Ölçeği-EKDÖ (Marital Comparison Level Index) ’nin evli çiftler için geçerlik ve güvenilirliğini saptamaktır. Evlilik sorunu nedeniyle psikolojik yardım almamış 50 evli çift üzerinden yapılan analizler sonucunda EKDÖ'nin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu bulunmuştur. Yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda ölçeğin olumlu ve olumsuz özellikleri ayrı ayrı değerlendiren iki faktörden oluştuğu görülmüştür.
Marital Comparison Level Index: Validity and Reliability
The purpose of this study is to investigate the reliability and the validity of “The Marital Comparison Level Index" developed by Sabatelli (1984) in married couples. The sample consisted of 50 couples who had not received counseling about their marriage problems. The analyses revealed that “The Marital Comparison- Level Index" is a reliable and valid instrument to measure expectation level for Turkish populations. The factor analysis showed that there were two factors in the scale consisting of positive and negative features in evaluation.
