Gençlik Dönemindeki Aile Sorunlarını Değerlendirme Ölçeği, gençlik döneminde, içinde yaşanılan aile ortamından kaynaklanan streslerin sayısını ve bu streslerden etkilenme derecesini ölçmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu makalede, GDASDÖ'nin faktör yapısı, geçerliği ve güvenirliği ile ilgili olarak yapılan dört farklı çalışmanın sonuçları özetlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Faktör analizi çalışmaları sonucunda GDASDÖ için otoriter-baskıcı tutum, ilişkilerde duyarsızlık ve tutarsızlık, anne-baba ilişkilerinde uyumsuzlık, sosyal ilişkilerde kısıtlılık, ev ortamında düzensizlik, ekonomik sorunlar, sınırsızlık ve istismar, sağlık ve sosyal sorunlar adları verilen 8 alt boyut belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, yapılan diğer faktör analizleri de ölçeğin faktör yapı geçerliğinin olduğunu göstermiştir. Yapılan güvenirlik çalışmalarında ölçeğin toplam ve alt boyutlar güvenirlik katsayılarının tatminkar ve test-tekrar test değerlerinin yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Geçerlik çalışmalarında ise öncelikle maddeler, alt boyutlar ve toplam için t-test karşılaştırmaları yapılmış ve istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklar elde edilmiştir. Diğer geçerlik çalışmalarında da ayırdedici analiz sonuçlarının yüksek ve GDASDÖ puanları ile ilişkili çeşitli değişkenler arasındaki korelasyonların anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür.

Family Problems of Young Adulthood Evuiluation Scale is developed to investigate the number of family environment stressors and the degree of being affected by these stressors in young adulthood. The aim of this article is to summarize the results of four different studies related with the factorial structure, reliability and validity of the Scale. The results of the factor analysis indicated that the Scale had 8 factors which were authoritarian-oppressive attitude, insensitivity and inconsistency in relations, disharmony between parents, limited social activity, disorder in the. house, financial problems, intrusion and abuse, health and social problems. Additional factor analysis showed that the Scale had factorial structure validity. According to the results of reliability studies, the internal consistencies of both total and subscale scores were acceptable, and the test-retest reliability coefficients were quite high. The t-test comparison studies of items, subscales and total scores revealed that there were significant differences between the groups. The validity studies showed that the discrimination power of the total and subscale scores were high and the correlations between the Scale scores and the related variables were statistically significant.
