Bu çalışmanın amacı, cinsiyet ve evlilik, uyumuna bağlı olarak, nedensellik ve sorumluluk yüklemelerindeki nedensel ilişki değişmeleri ve yükleme boyutlarının evlilik uyumunu yordamadaki katkılarını incelemektir. Bu amaçla, 224 evli kişiye (112 erkek, 112 kadın) Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği (EUÖ) ve İlişkilerde Yükleme Ölçeği (İYÖ) uygulanmıştır. Genel olarak bulgular, olumsuz eş davranışına yapılan yüklemeler ile evlilikte yaşanan uyumsuzluğun birbiriyle olan ters ilişkisini ortaya koymuştur. Çeşitli yüklemeler içinden, evlilik uyumunu yordayan tek anlamlı değişkenin güdü yüklemesi olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The purpose of this study was to examine causal and responsibility attributions, in relation to sex and marital adjustment, and to investigate the contribution of these attributions in predicting marital adjustment. For this purpose, the Marital Adjustment Test (MAT) and the Relationship Attribution Measure (RAM) were administered to 224 married people (112 men and 112 women). In general, the results indicated that marital distress was negatively related with attributions made for spouse's negative behaviors. Of the various types of attributions, the motivation attribution was the only significant predictor of marital adjustment.
