Ölçüt-dayanaklı değerlendirme bağlanımda geliştirilen geleneksel içtutarlık indekslerinin kesme puanına dayanması onların zayıf yanını oluşturmaktadır. Önerilen Çift-Tutarlık (Pçr) indeksi testin maddelerinin tekler- çiftler şeklinde iki yarıya bölünmesine, iki yandaki bireylerin alt-üst %27’lik grubunun toplam puanlarına göre aynı %27’lik kesme alanlarına sınıflanıp sınıflanmadığına bakmaktadır. Testin her iki yarısındaki alt-üst %27’lik gruplardaki frekans farklarıyla indeks eşitliği şu şekildedir. , eğer test tutarlı bir sınıflama yapıyorsa (bir anlamda bireyleri tutarlı bir şekilde ayırt ediyorsa), testin ilk yarısında üst grupta sınıflanan bireylerin ikinci yarısında da üst grupta; ilk yarısında alt grupta sınıflanan birey¬lerin ikinci yarıda da alt grupta sınıflanmasının beklenmesi rasyonaline dayanmaktadır. İndeks değeri 0.00’a yaklaştıkça tutarsız sınıflamayı, 1.00’e yaklaştıkça da tutarlı sınıflamayı göstermektedir. her türlü puanlanan, ancak tekboyutlu olan ölçme araçlarının sınıflama ve sıralama tutadığının belirlen¬mesinde kullanılabilir. İndeksin çeşitli değişkenler açısından görgül olarak incelenmesine ve dağılım fonksiy¬onunun çalışılmasına gereksinim vardır.

It has been empirically shown that the classificatioii coiisistency indices based on the criterion-refereiiced con- text have been influericed by the position of cutoff score on the test distributioii. Iii this paper, a new double coii- sisteiicy iiidex free from the cutoff score has been proposed by combiniiig sonie traditioiial methods; also a new formulae has been developed to calculate coiisistency iiidex of a test. This new index has been based on splitting of test items as odd-even numbers, calculating the total score ofeach individual in each split, sorting these total scores, and theii evaluating agreement between up-low 27% of the group in each half. The index was basically underlined on a principle that if an individual is classified in up 27% of the group in the first split, s/he is also classified in up 27% of the group in the second split. The same rule is also validfor the low 27% of the group as an indicator of the coiisistency of the test. The index value rariges between 0.00 and 1.00. The formulae of the double coiisistency index is: The calculation of the index is easier than the other traditioiial indices. It can be applied to both dichotomous- ly and polytomously scored tests. It also provides Information about ordinal consistency of a test as w eli as clas- sification of the test. However, further studies should be conducted to test the distribution function of the new iiidex.
