Bu çalışmanın temel amacı görsel kısa süreli bellek ve dikkat süreçlerinin değerlendirilmesinde kullanılmak üzere bir bellek bataryası geliştirmektir. Çalışma kapsamında geliştirilen batarya; pasif kısa süreli bellek deposu, kısa süreli çalışma belleği, şekil belleği, görsel monoton dikkat ve stratejik tarama hızıyla ilişkili çeşitli testlerden oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışma öncesinde, batarya için başlangıç testleri oluşturulmuş ve testler 128 üniversite öğrencisi üzerinde test edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada bataryada yeniden gözden geçirilmiş testler kullanılmış ve testler, farklı yaş, eğitim ve cinsiyet değişkenlerini temsil eden 168 kişiye (84 Kadın, 84 Erkek) uygulanmıştır. Yaş, eğitim düzeyi ve cinsiyet değişkenlerinin testlerden alman puanlar üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular kısaca tartışılmıştır.

The aim of this study was to develop a memory battery to be used in the examination of visual short-term memory and attention processes. In the present study, the battery was composed of various tests which are related to passive short-term memory store, short-term working memory, figural memory, visual monotonous attention, and strategical search rate. Prior to this study, initial tests of the battery were developed and pilotted on 128 university students. In the present study, revised tests were used in the battery and administered 168 participants (84 Women and 84 Men) representing different ages, educational levels, and sex. The effects of age, level of education, and sex variables on the scores of the tests were examined. Obtained findings were briefly discussed.
