Bağlanma Stilleri ve Genel Uyum Düzeyleri Açısından Üniversite Öğrencilerinin İncelenmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı bağlanma stilleri ve genel uyum düzeyleri açısından üniversite öğrencilerinin incelenmesidir.
Yöntem: Araştırmalım ömeklemi, Uşak Üniversitesinde öğrenimine devam eden 18 ilâ 25 yaş arası 1033 (566’sı kız ve 467’si erkek) öğrencidir. Örneklem her fakülteden seçilen 2 bölümün öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Öğrenciler 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıflardan seçkisiz olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, genel uyumu ölçebilmek için Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri, bağlanma stillerini belirleyebilmek için Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Ölçeği ve demografik bilgileri elde edebilmek için Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır.
Bulgular: Küme analizi ile öğrencilerin güvenli (%24.6 öğrenci), korkulu (%28.2 öğrenci), kayıtsız (%28.5 öğrenci) ve saplantılı (%18,7 öğrenci) bağlanma stillerinden hangi gruba dâhil oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Güvenli bağlanma stilleri ile yüksek genel uyum puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulgusu elde edilmiştir (F=63.36, p<0.01).
Tartışma ve Sonuç: Güvenli bağlanma stili olan öğrencilerin genel uyum puanlarının korkulu, kayıtsız veya saplantılı bağlanma stili olan öğrencilerin genel uyum puanlarından istatistiksel olarak anlamdı düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bu sonuca göre, bağlanma stilinin, öğrencilerin genel uyumları üzerinde etkisinin olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Investigation of Attachment Styles and General Adjustment Levels on University Students
Objective: the aim of this study was to analyze investigation the attachment styles and general adjustments on university students.
Method: The sample of this study was consisted of 1033 (566 female and 467 male) students from Usak University. The sample was selected from two departments of each faculty; and also, the students selected randomly from 1., 2., 3. and 4. grades. Individual Data Questionnaire for demographic information, Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory (ECR) for measuring general adjustment and Hacettepe Personality Inventory was investigated attachment styles.
Findings: According to the findings of this study, thejitudents groups which were included m secure attachment style (X=91,7)ireckless attachment style CY=87,2), obsession attachment style (Y=82,2) and fear attachment styles (X=77,2), were identified with cluster analysis. The findings obtained that significantly effects of attachment styles on general adjustment of college students (F=63,36, p<0.01). Discussion and Conclusion: Our results show that students of secure attachment style had significantly higher general adjustment than students of reckless, obsession and fear attachment styles. It is thought that rising rates of secure attachment of college students can be related with their attachment styles.
