Bu araştırmada sigara içme ve ıçmemede de­netim odağının, yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum ve öğrenim düzeyinin rolü değerlendirilmiştir. Araş­tırmaya 120 kışı katılmıştır. (60 sigara içen ve 60 içmeyen olmak üzere). Rotter'ın Içten-Dıştan De­netim Odağı Ölçeği uygularımıştır. Verilerin çö­zümlenmesinde ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Elde edi­len bulgular, denetim odağının sigara içme davranışında etkisi olmadığını, yaşa, cinsiyete, medeni duruma ve öğrenim düzeyine göre de­ğişmediğini göstermiştir.

This study investigated the role ol age, sex, educational level, marital status and locus of control on smoking behavior. This study consist the participation of 120 people (60 smoking and 60 no smoking). Rotter Internal - External Locus of Control Scale were distributed. The data were analyzed using the ANOVA. The results in­dicated no significant differences between the groups.
