Birçok araştırma, hekimlerin psikiyatrik bozukluklar ile ilgili olarak olumsuz tutumlara sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Hekimlerin psikiyatrik bozukluklar ve tedavilerine yönelik tutumlarındaki olumsuzluk, hastaların tedavi sürecini etkileyebilmektedir. Bu yazıda, hekimlerin psikiyatrik hastalıklara yönelik tutumlarının tanı ve izlem konusundaki etkileri gözden geçirilmiştir.

Several studies show the persistence of negative attitudes of the physcians towards the psychiatric disorders. The negative attitudes of the doctors towards psychiatric disorders and treatments can affect the treatment process of patients negatively. In this paper, the impact of the attitudes of the physcians towards psychiatric disorders in terms of recognition and management is reviewed.
