Cinsel eğitim doğumla ölüm arasında devam eden bir süreç olmasına karşın, bu konudaki eğiticiler yeterince görünür olamamışlardır ve cinsel eğitim konusu halen her zaman olduğu gibi tartışmalı bir kavram olarak beklemektedir. Bu yazıda cinsel eğitimin tanımı, bileşenleri ve amaçları yanısıra; içeriği, yaş uygunluğu ve başarılı cinsel eğitim programlarının oluşturulmasına engel olan etkenler tartışılmaktadır.

Despite the fact that sexual education continues between birth and death, many of the sex education teachers are not clearly visible and sexual education still remains as controversial as ever. This article discusses the definition, components and aims of sexual education, its content and age appropriateness as well as barriers and factors that prevent establisment of successful sexual education programmes.
