Psikiyatri uzmanlık eğitiminin giderek geliştiği ülkemizde, bu eğitimin etik yönü ve içeriği üzerinde daha sık durulmaya başlanmıştır. Bu makalede psikiyatristin etik eylemlerinin ilkeleri üzerinde durulacak, etik eylem geliştirme ile eğitim arasındaki ilişki değerlendirilecektir.Tıbbın genelinde olduğu gibi psikiyatride de eğitim, psikiyatristin hasta üzerindeki uygulamalarının meşruiyetinin temelini oluşturmaktadır. Gerek etik kurallara uygun davranmak, gerekse etik sorunlar karşısında duyarlı olmak ve çözüm yolları belirleyebilmek bakımından eğitimin büyük bir önemi olduğu da açıktır. Yukarıda sözü geçen her iki durumda da psikiyatristin yeterliliğini kuşkuya yer bırakmayacak biçimde sağlayan bir psikiyatri uzmanlığı eğitiminde etik eğitiminin yeri ve özellikleri bu makalenin temel eksenini oluşturmaktadır.

Due to the improvements in the education of psychiatry, ethical aspects and content of this education are being more frequently emphasized in our country. In this article, the principles of ethical conducts of psychiatrists will be mentioned and the relationship between ethical conducts and education will be evaluated.

In psychiatry, similar to medicine in general, legitimacy of psychiatrist’s applications beses on the education. It is quite clear that the education is highly crucial for both acting in accordance with ethical princiqles and being sensitive about ethical issues, as well as determining solutions for them. The importance and characteristics of ethics education for an adequate education in psychiatry, which provides its recipients with competence in both situations for sure, is the main task of this article.
