Açıklayıcı organik bir nedene bağlı olmadan çeşitli bedensel belirtilerle hekimlere başvuran kişilerin sayısı az değildir. Belirtilerin sadece organik nedene bağlı olmadığının hastaya anlatılması, çoğu zaman hasta için rahatlatıcı olmamaktadır. Bu gibi durumlarda bedensel yakınmaların, kendini bir çeşit ifade biçimi olduğunu göz önünde tutarak hastayı ele almak, onu çözümlemek için gereklidir. Bu yaklaşım içinde hasta kendini sözel ve duygusal olarak ifade etme olanağı bulacaktır
Somatisation-a Clinical Approach (fate Or Unresolved Emotional Problem?)
The number of people who present to doctors because of various somatic symptoms that can not be explained by an organic cause are not few. Mostly, it is not relieving for the patient just to be informed about that the symptoms were not related to an organic cause. In such instances, in order to resolve the problem, it is essential to handle the patient by keeping in mind that the bodily complaints may be a kind of mode of expressing oneself. By this kind of approach, the patient will have the opportunity to express himself/herself verbally and emotionally.
