Bir Kadın Doğum Uzmanı Gözüyle Somatizasyon

Bu yazıda jinekoloji pratiğinde somatoform bozukluğun önemine işaret etmek ve çözüm önerisi sunmak amaçlanmıştır.
Çoğu klinisyenlerimizin gözlemlediği gibi; muayene bulgularının başvuru semptomunu tam açıklamadığı büyük bir hasta gurubu vardır. Bu hasta gurubu klinisyeni çok fazla meşgul etmekte, tam teşhis konamamakta, hasta tekrar tekrar gelmekte, klinisyen "acaba önemli bir şeyi mi atlıyorum" düşüncesiyle fazla sayıda tetkik yapmakta, birşey bulamadığında hastayı başka disiplinlere sevketmekte veya verdiği ilaç etkili olmadığı için hasta kısa süre sonra karşısına tekrar geldiğinde bunalmakta ve çaresiz kalmaktadır (doktorun tükenmişliği).
Bu yazı, jinekolog açısından sorunu çeşitli yönleriyle ortaya koyup çözüm önerileri sunmaya çalışmaktadır.
Somatisation From The Point Of View Of A Gynecologist's
In this article it is aimed to present the importance of somatoform disorders in gynecologic practice and to suggest some solutions.
As many gynecologic practitioners observed, there is a big portion of patients in which the findings of the gynecologic examination does not correlate with the presenting symptom. This group of patients take up very much time of the practitioner. The clinician, lest overlooking an important disorder, orders lots of laboratory analyses and wants the help of other medical disciplines. Despite this efforts, generally the definite organic diagnosis could not be established. And the practitioner feels him(her)self inadequate against the problem (exhaustion).
This paper aims both to present the gynecologic dimension of the problem and to suggest some solutions.
