Son yıllarda obsesif kompulsif bozukluk (OKB) ve kültür arasında ilişkinin giderek daha fazla önem kazandığı göze çarpmaktadır. Bununla birlikte bu ilişkinin Türkiye’de ve belirli kültürlerde ampirik kanıtlarının yeterince bulunup bulunmadığı sorusu gündeme gelmektedir. Bu derlemede, Türkiye ve İslam toplumlarında OKB için kültüre özgü konuların tartışılması amaçlanmıştır.

Obsesif Kompulsif Bozukluk: Kültürel Bakış

For several decades a relationship between obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and culture has been gradually more suggested. However, the question emerges as to whether this association is adequately founded on empirical evidence in specific cultures and in Turkey. In this review, we aimed to discuss culture specific issues for OCD in Turkey and Islamic societies.
