Ülkemizde evde bakım yeni bir kavram olarak kabul
edilmektedir. Evde Bakım, sağlık, ekonomik ve sosyal
hizmetler gibi birçok alanda ve bu alanlarda çalışan
meslek grupları tarafından sunulan hizmetlerdir.
Evde bakım hizmetleri ile bireylerin kendi evlerinde
ya da çevrelerinde bağımsız olarak günlük yaşam
aktivitelerini sürdürebilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır. Bu
çalışmanın amacı evde bakım hastalarının tıbbi gereksinimlerini
belirlemek, evde bakım sağlayan aile
hekimlerinin rolü ve görevlerini netleştirmektir. Araştırmacılar
tarafından bu alandaki literatürler inceledikten
sonra bir değerlendirme formu oluşturuldu. Bu
form demografik veriler, fonksiyonel performans durumu,
fizik muayene ve sağlık sorunlarını tanımlamak
için kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak evde bakım konusunda
toplumsal bilinci geliştirmek ve bakım verenlere
eğitim ve bilgilendirme toplantıları düzenlenmesi
önerilmektedir.

In our country home care is regarded as a new
concept. Home care is a service consisting of
many fields such as health, economy and social
service and presemed by professional groups
working in thesefields. Home care services intend
to enable individuals to sustain their daily
living acitivities in their homes or in the neighbor
hood independently.The goal of this study is to
explore the medical needs of home care patients
and thus clarify the role and tasks of family
physicians in providing home care. The assessment
form was designed after the investigators
scrutinized the literature in this area. This form
were used to describe the demographic data,
functional performance status, physical examinations
and health problems. As a result the issue
of home care, it this suggested that should
organise education and information meetings
on the home care of caregivers to develop the
social consciousness.
