Cinsel kimlik bozukluğu (CKB), kişinin biyolojik cinsiyeti veya cinsel rolünden sürekli bir şekilde rahatsızlık duyma-sı ile belirli bir klinik durumdur. Bu yazıda, CKB belirtileri ergenlik çağından sonra başlayan, 15 yaşında olan bir kız hasta sunulacaktır. Çocukluk çağı boyunca kronik olarak travmaya uğrayan bu kız hastada ergenlikten itibaren cinsel kimliğinde değişme ve aile içi dinamiklerin cinsel kimlik gelişimi üzerindeki belirleyici etkisinin vurgulanması amaçlanmıştır.

Gender identity disorder (GID) is a clinical condition characterized by a persistent feelings of discomfort with one’s biological sex or the gender role of one’s sex. In this report a case of GID in a 15 [year]s old female, whose symp-toms begin after puberty was discussed. It was aimed to explain the situation of the girl in which gender identity changes through adolescent period who has chronic trauma throughout childhood and the characteristic effects of the family dynamics on the development of sexual identity
