Eozinofilik granüloma (EG), Langerhans cell histiositozisin (LCH) en sık görülen benign formudur. Etiyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Kemiğin medüller tabakasına eozinofil ve histiositlerin birikmesi ile oluşur. Oksipital kemik lokalizasyonu ve intrakranyal büyüme göstermesi EG'da çok seyrek görülen bir durumdur, bu özelliklerinden dolayı olgumuzu tartışmaya uygun olabileceğini düşündük. EG'da tedavi yaklaşımları halen tartışmalıdır. Olgu sunumumuzda literatür gözden geçirilerek tanı ve tedavi yöntemleri değerlendirilmiştir.

Eosinophilic granuloma (EG) is the most commonly seen benign form of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). Its etiology is unknown. It develops by the accumulation of eosinophils and histiocytes on the medullary layer of the bone. Occipital bone localization and intracranial growth is a very rare condition in EG , therefore we decided to discuss this case. Approaches for treatment in EG are still open to discussion. In our case presentation , diagnosis and treatment methods are studied by reffering to the related literature.
