Mesleki kimlik konusu hepimizin deneyimsel olarak yaşadığımız ama üzerinde pek de konuşmadığımız konulardan biridir. Bu yazı çeşitli evrelerde mesleki gelişimi kimlik ve kendilik boyutlarıyla irdelemek ve bu gelişim süreci içinde eğiticilerin kullanabilecekleri araçları tartışmak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Mesleki yönden kimlik gelişimiyle paralel olarak bu alandaki kendilik boyutu da gelişim göstermektedir. Her iki gelişimsel boyut birbiriyle ilişkili olarak altı basamakta incelenmiştir. Eğiticilerin eğitilenlerin mesleki kimlik sürecindeki rolleri ve bu konuda eğitilenlere yardımcı olmak için kullanabilecekleri araçlar tartışılmıştır.

Professional identity is a subject that we all know by experience but not much is written on. The paper is written to discuss the development of professional identity and its integration with the self development in the area of child and adolescent psychiatry. Development of both of these structures are evaluated on a six step schemata. The role of the trainers in the development of the professional identity of the trainers and the tools that can be used during this developmental process are discussed.
