Obsesif kompulsif bozuklukta fenomenolojik özellikler

Amaç: Bu çalışmada DSM-III ve III-R'ye göre Obsesif Kompulsif Bozukluk tanısı almış yatan hastalardaki obsesyon ve kompulsiyonların biçim ve içerik yönünden değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Yöntem: 44 hastada saptanan 57 obsesyon ve 55 kompulsiyonun biçim ve içerikleri Khanna ve Channabasavanna tarafından geliştirilen sınıflandırma sistemine göre değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Kir ve pislik bulaşması korkusu hastaların %45.5'inde saptanan en sık obsesyon temasıydı; bunu din, hastalık, kendine ve başkalarına zarar verme izlemekteydi. En sık kompulsiyon içeriği yıkamaydı ve hastaların %70.5'inde saptandı; bunu belirli etkinlikler ve güvenlik temaları izlemekteydi. Tartışma: Bulgular genelde literatürle uyumluydu. Din temaları ikinci sıklıkta görülmekle birlikte sık değildi.
Phenomenology In Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Objective: The aim of this study is to analyse the obsessions and compulsions of inpatients diagnosed as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (DSM-III and III-R) in terms of form and content Method: Form and content of 57 obsessions and 55 compulsions found in 44 inpatients were classified by using the classification system developed by Khanna and Chanabasavanna. Results: Dirt and contamination fear was the most common obsessional theme seen in 4.5.5% of patients, followed by religion, illness, sex, and harm to self and others. The most common compulsion content found in 70.5% of patients was washing, followed by specific activities and security. Conclusion: Findings were in aggreement with previous studies. Religion theme was the second common theme but not so frequent.
