Hiperprolaktinemi, seçici serotonin gerialım inhibitörlerinin kullanımı
sırasında ortaya çıkabilen bir yan etkidir. Essitalopramın prolaktin
düzeyine etkisi ile ilgili çok az araştırmaya rastlanabilmiştir. Bu yazıda,
essitalopram tedavisi almakta iken serum prolaktin artışı ve galaktore
saptanan bir olgu sunulmuştur.

Hyperprolactinemia can be seen as an adverse effect during SSRI
treatments. We were able to find only a very few reports which were
involved with the effect on the prolactin level of a novel SSRI
Escitalopram. Here we present a case who had high prolactin levels
and galactorrhea during escitalopram treatment.
